someone from Britain told me you can legally have sex at age 16 did that person lie? and can i if im from the US i go on a trip to the UK and have sex there is it legal?

well why would you go to britain just to have sex? sex is legal in the US, just not if that person is over 18, and im pretty sure if they are 18 and you are 16 its legal in the US, well, it is where im at in the US anyway
